Wonderful story that really resonated!
This book told a story of transformation that most us us can only dream about. I found so many parallels to my own journey, yet the freedom that Victoria had is something that I have not been able to find in my own life. I too, share the legacy of a traumatic family experience and abandonment, but where her mother was distant, my mother was chronically possessive, while suffering from bipolar disorder and depression that made it impossible for me to break free. I was able to distance myself a small amount by starting my own family, but running from the strangle-hold of my mother to the strangle-hold of a husband and children doesn’t seem like the best way to realize your own dreams. I am a happily divorced single mother and I love and know that my children were apart of my souls plan, but I can acknowledge that it has tremendously slowed down my process of finding the spiritual path that I seek. Or, it has brought it to the forefront.
Reading Victoria’s story has affirmed that I am on the right path as a seeker and to look for my own signs and synchronicities to push me forward in my own journey. Thank you for sharing your story!

Must read!
“To experience being the light, one must experience darkness because there is not one thing without its opposite” (Neale Donald Walsh, as cited within In A Matter Of Seconds).
In A Matter Of Seconds, written by Victoria Vives Khuong, is a powerful and inspiring autobiography focusing on her journey through peril and tribulations in a tumultuous world. Vives Khuong not only explores her own spiritual journey blooming from the challenges of her upbringing, societal isolation, and countless other life changing experiences, but encourages the reader to delve into their own. This book offers insight on what it takes to shift your perception on life and how one split decision can change everything in, well, “a matter of seconds”. Vives Khuong, fueled by kindness, love and a deep understanding of the human experience, wisely encourages us all to no longer see a dandelion as a weed, but as a wish. Superb, must read!
